Question 1

What are Patchkite’s intended daily checks?

Accepted Answer

After Patchkite is delivered, and when daily checks are enabled for your site, it is intended to look for broken links, compare the business hours posted on your website with the hours you saved in Patchkite, and review the form pages you configured.

Question 2

Are daily checks available now?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Patchkite is in development, so daily checks are not offered before delivery. Once delivered, daily checks must be enabled for a site before they run.

Question 3

Do checks submit forms or edit my website?

Accepted Answer

No. The intended checks are read-only: they do not submit forms or edit your website.

Question 4

What happens when I approve or reject a proposed fix?

Accepted Answer

A finding can lead to a proposed fix for you to review. You can approve or reject it. Today, either choice records your review only; it does not apply or publish a change to your website.

Question 5

Can Patchkite publish a fix through my CMS today?

Accepted Answer

No CMS is connected today. CMS publishing is planned, but Patchkite cannot publish an approved fix now.

Question 6

What will Patchkite report after a future publish?

Accepted Answer

If CMS publishing is delivered, Patchkite plans to send a concise note about what changed. The note will not verify that the update is live, and Patchkite will not claim that it is.
